Open Heritage Press places academic integrity, responsible authorship, cultural and linguistic rights, transparent dissemination, and editorial responsibility at the center of its publishing practice.
Responsible scholarship
Authors are responsible for the originality and integrity of their work and for accurate attribution of sources and intellectual authorship.
Communities and heritage
Particular care is required when research involves communities, cultural heritage, Indigenous knowledge, or cultural and linguistic rights.
Editorial responsibility
Conflicts of interest, misconduct, and requests for corrections or retractions are addressed within the Press’s commitment to academic integrity. For matters not specifically addressed, OHP is guided by the general principles of COPE.
