Peer-Review Policy
Peer review forms part of the academic evaluation framework of Open Heritage Press where it is appropriate to the publication type and applicable editorial policy. OHP may also use documented scientific or editorial committee review for publication types for which that route is appropriate.
Principles
External peer review is conducted objectively and, where the designated review model requires it, anonymously. Editorial decisions must remain impartial and must not discriminate on the basis of ideology, culture, language, or institutional affiliation.
Academic oversight
The Scientific Editorial Committee may review proposals and publications, participate in peer-review processes, and issue recommendations based on methodological rigor and thematic relevance.
Editorial decision
Evaluation reports inform revision and editorial decision-making. Responsibility for the final editorial decision remains with the Press and its editorial structures.
